Masquerade Judge: Searin Cosplay
A cosplayer since 2011, Searin Cosplay’s passion for making evolved into pursuing a career in theatrical costuming and starting an Etsy shop with geeky crafts and cosplay blueprints. Having always dabbled in a variety of handcrafts, she greatly enjoys the blend of skills required for cosplay projects and is drawn to costume builds rich with detail. One of her favorite things about cosplaying is the community; she loves technique swapping with other cosplay crafters and chatting about shared fandoms at conventions. She has been competing in Midwest cosplay contests for nearly a decade and has won multiple Best in Show awards. Recently, she took home 3rd place at the regional C2E2 Crown Championships of Cosplay in 2022 for her Arya Stark cosplay.
Ryn is a huge Zelda fan and the series is what first inspired her to start cosplaying. Some of her favorite anime series include FMA, JJBA, OPM, MP100, and old classics such as Trigun and The Rose of Versailles. She frequently duo cosplays with her brother and the two of them can usually be found at conventions getting into silly shenanigans together.
