Guest Announcement: Hirotsugu Hayakawa

We’re excited to welcome Hirotsugu Hayakawa to Anime Milwaukee 2025!

As VFX Director at Studio Orange, Hayakawa has been instrumental in crafting breathtaking visual effects for some of the studio’s most dynamic works, including TRIGUN STAMPEDE and Godzilla S.P <Singularity Point>.

After gaining internship experience on Kantai Collection -KanColle-, Hayakawa joined Studio Orange and worked as an animator on Izetta: The Last Witch and Mazinger Z: Infinity. In 2017, he was selected as one of the founding members of Orange’s newly established Effects Department, where he took on groundbreaking challenges in visual effects for projects like Land of the Lustrous, Monster Strike THE MOVIE: Sora no Kanata, and BEASTARS.

He later served as VFX Sub-Director for Godzilla S.P <Singularity Point> and is currently the VFX Art Director for TRIGUN STAMPEDE.
