AMKE 2022 Recap
To everyone that joined us for our 2022 event, thank you! We couldn’t have done this without you, whether you came for a day or the whole weekend, whether you were a vendor or attendee or contractor or even just a parent dropping off your kid for some fun with friends — you made #AMKE2022 a success! With over 10,000 people onsite, COVID-19 challenges, construction of the convention center underway, sharing event space with a wedding party, and two years between conventions, everyone involved dealt with a lot and endured wonderfully. Anime Milwaukee is proud of everyone who stuck with us and supported our event.
So, now what? Our staff are going through the feedback form responses, emails, social media messages and posts, and wrapping up for 2022. The feedback has been fantastic, both in what expected to hear and didn’t expect to hear. As we review and plan our formal recap with our staff, this feedback is immediately used to help with planning for our 2023 event. Our community helps shape the event and tell us what to bring for 2023. After meeting and planning the next steps, you bet we’ll be getting ready for opening registration, vendor applications, panelist applications, hotel bookings, staff applications and everything you love and want to see for our future events.
We’re excited to share the changes for 2023 as soon as those are finalized, so stay tuned for updates. See you February 3-5, 2023!
