Some panels and events at Anime Milwaukee are restricted to attendees over the age of 18. To streamline the checking at events, attendees who want to attend adult or age-restricted programming will be required to obtain an age verification wristband before the event.

Where do I get a wristband?

Wristbands will be available at Attendee Services, located in Grand Ballroom AB, during normal Registration hours (Friday 9AM-9PM, Saturday 9AM-9PM, Sunday 9AM-1PM). When Attendee Services is closed, wristbands will be available at the Panels Office in N207.

ID Requirements

In order to get your wristband, you must present a valid form of ID with your name, date of birth, and photo that is not expired. Valid forms of ID include:

• State ID

• Driver's license

• Passports and passport cards

• Student ID (if all required information is present)

• Tribal ID

• Military ID

• Government-issued temporary paper ID (e.g., paper IDs issued by a state DMV)

• Digital ID or Driver’s License (when used with Apple or Google Wallet, or the issuing state’s official app)

IDs missing this information, expired IDs, and photos of IDs cannot be accepted for age verification purposes.

Wristband Guidelines

• Wristbands must be applied by Anime Milwaukee staff.

• The wristband must be attached around the wrist and cannot be slid off.

• Wristbands that are ripped, broken, or not attached around the wrist will not be able to be used to get into age-restricted programming.
