Guest Announcement: Nanami Higuchi

Born in 1990 in Tokyo, Japan, and a graduate of Rikkyo University, Nanami Higuchi is an accomplished screenwriter who has worked across a wide range of genres, from live-action productions to animation.

Known for a deep love of idols and Formula 1, her creative voice blends emotional depth with bold, character-driven storytelling. Among her most notable achievements, Higuchi served as the sole series screenwriter for BEASTARS, overseeing the story from Season 1 through the Final Season—an exceptional accomplishment that reflects her long-term dedication to both the original manga and its anime adaptation.

Her additional credits include episode writing on B.N.A., Little Witch Academia, and Delicious in Dungeon.

Higuchi is appearing at Anime Milwaukee to celebrate the release of BEASTARS Final Season Part 2.

At the BEASTARS Final Season Panel, Higuchi and Watanabe will share behind-the-scenes insights from their years working closely with the original story, discussing the creative process, challenges, and the unique experience of guiding one series from its beginning to its powerful conclusion.
