Security Checkpoints

As part of the $456M renovations and expansions for the Baird Center, the Wisconsin Center District has implemented a number of new enhancements to maintain their top priority for providing safe, fully accessible, and respectful facility services at their venue. Among these changes for 2024, this includes security enhancements upon entering the convention center.

All public entrances (this includes skywalk entries) will have new security scanning in place. This is a discreet check for weapons and prohibited items. Guests will be assured a fast, reliable and unobtrusive screening, designed for large venues and large traffic.

As we work with the venue and they complete their renovations, expect this to be even easier for 2025!
