Please welcome Nozomu Sasaki-san to Anime Milwaukee 2025!
Sasaki-san has lent his voice to many characters, including Yusuke Urameshi from Yu Yu Hakusho, Eriol Hiiragizawa from Cardcaptor Sakura, Mello from Death Note, and many more!
A veteran voice actor with a captivating voice, Sasaki-san has built an impressive career, seamlessly portraying a wide range of roles, from fearless heroes to enigmatic masterminds. Beyond his talents in voice acting, he has a deep passion for English and American culture, holding one of Japan’s highest English proficiency certifications. He has even worked as a voice actor in both Japanese and English!
In 2013, while continuing his career as a top-tier voice actor, Sasaki-san took on an extraordinary challenge—he applied to and was accepted into The University of Tokyo, Japan’s most prestigious institution. He graduated with top honors from the Faculty of Law in the spring of 2020. His decision to pursue higher education was driven by a desire to experience student life just like any other student, which is why he kept his identity as a well-known voice actor a secret until graduation. Balancing both worlds so successfully is a testament to his dedication, discipline, and passion for learning.
