Manga Library: 2021 Reviews
The Manga Library at Anime Milwaukee misses all of our patrons and their smiling faces. While we can't meet in person for 2021, we will be hard at work preparing for AMKE 2022. In the meantime, we'd like to share with you our reviews of some titles that we've been reading. We've started out with these, but there will be more on the way over the next few months.

Campfire Cooking in Another World with my Absurd Skill

Summary
In short as you might guess by the alternative titles, this manga is an isekai manga. A regular civilian gets transported along with some “heroes” to a fantasy land by accident. deemed useless by the king that had summoned him and consequently kicked out of the castle and that is where our adventure begins.
Review
Mukouda is the main character and does have some interesting cheat skills but by no means is he OP. Funny enough it is his companions seen in the pictures that are OP and all of them follow him for the food he cooks. It should be noted that while food is predominant in the manga he is no chef but simply good at cooking.
The highlights of this manga is that the story isn’t all about food so much as the oddball characters that get addicted attracted to his food. This manga is funny and entertaining for the situations Makouda gets himself in because of his companions. It is a bit slow pace but it really draws you in. Before you know it you get hooked and want to find out what happens next! (￣▼￣)

Summary
Different from the rest of the reborn into an otome game mangas. Instead of the story being told by the adorable but absolutely clueless (and complete failure of) “villainess” Bertia, as the title states it is told from her fiancé, Prince Cecil.
Review
I have loved this story from the time I first read this as a light novel. 18 chapters to now 28 lovely illustrated chapters (♡//ᴗ//♡) Getting to reread this series in its reimagined state has been a delight. The characters are just as imagined and maybe even more filled out than they were in their purely written form. Bertia is as clueless as ever and getting to see her as her younger (and just reincarnated/transmigrated stat) proclaiming to be a villainess to young Cecil is classic Bertia! (*≧▽≦)ﾉｼ)) I can’t wait until this is completely translated❤️. This story is comedic with a dash of intrigue and of course romance. I highly recommend reading both the manga and light novel!!

Summary
A guy (no name is given for most of the current chapters) wakes up and discovers that he is ….an egg. Not just any egg but a dragon egg and according to a mysterious voice claiming to be god he is to become the strongest.ᕙ( * •̀ ᗜ •́ * )ᕗ
Review
This manga doesn’t have that many chapters but what it does have is utterly captivating. So far, I just love the humor in this manga. Everything from the “choices” (that aren’t really choices) that he receives upon leveling up that determines how he will grow to names of some of his skills(?!) that he gets. Just for an example he actually manages to get and level up clumsy of all things (hey, not like I can talk, if I had a status that showed skills clumsy would be pretty high). How he gets some of them feels like he is getting trolled or something at times, which is just hilarious. It is similar to So I'm a Spider, So What? I am looking forward to how this manga will develop! (๑و•̀ω•́)و
