Guest Announcement: David Wald
David Wald began voice-acting for English dubs of anime in 2005 with ADV Films' Shadow Skill. In the years since, David has gone on to voice characters including Fairy Tail's Gajeel Redfox; Tetsutetsu and Snipe in My Hero Academia; ADAM/Ainosuke in Sk8 The Infinity; Napapa and Hyssop in Dragon Ball Super; Master Chief in Halo: Legends; Bulat in Akame Ga Kill!; Attack On Titan's Hannes; Vetto in Black Clover; Coach Ukai in Haikyu; Duke Togo in Golgo 13; Charlie in Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood; Paulie and Tamago in One Piece; Reiji in Diabolik Lovers; and Welf Crozzo in Is It Wrong To Try And Pick Up Girls In A Dungeon?, as well as in video games including Wainwright Jakobs in Borderlands 3 and Zeku in Street Fighter 5.
From outside the vocal booth, David has served as ADR Director for dubs including GIVEN; Stranger By The Shore; Case Study of Vanitas; Love Stage!!; Hitorijime My Hero; Bloom Into You; Kase-san and Morning Glories; Cutie Honey Universe and Re: Cutie Honey; Tada Never Falls In Love; and To Love Ru; and has adapted scripts for titles including GIVEN; Love Stage; Hitorijime My Hero; Diabolik Lovers: More Blood; and Chivalry of a Failed Knight.
Before his full immersion into the deep ocean of anime, David was a dedicated stage actor and Shakespearean, featured in theatrical productions with companies including The Houston Shakespeare Festival and The Prague Shakespeare Company.
