Amy Porter’s tattoo journey began in 2015 with an apprenticeship that sparked her drive to do things her own way. Since then, she’s learned from inspiring artists, traveled to cities and conventions, and built a style that truly reflects her voice.
In 2020, Amy opened Alchemy Tattoo & Gallery to create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive space—especially for women and the LGBTQ+ community. By 2024, Alchemy found its home in Lombard, IL, with a growing team of resident and guest artists from around the country.
Today, Amy specializes in colorful anime tattoos—shonen, magical girls, and all things joyful. She’s endlessly grateful for this journey, this studio, and every client who lets her turn their ideas into art.
