A.K. WIRRU (AMENOKITAROU)

A.K. WIRRU is an international award-winning cosplayer, costume maker, and workshop presenter from Sydney, Australia.

They found cosplay through their first anime convention in 2004 when they participated as a fan artist. Since then, Wirru has fallen in love with creating visually interesting costumes and paying tributes to several characters. They started entering competitions in 2006 and got hooked! In 2014, Wirru decided to make tutorials and now teaches others about the craft.

Wirru now travels the world as a cosplay competition judge and workshop presenter at various conventions.
