Statement Regarding Corey Wood

In light of recent news, please read this message from the Entertainment and Culture Promotional Society board of directors.

ECPS (the parent organization of Anime Milwaukee) takes attendee trust seriously. In light of the current business allegations regarding our convention chair, Corey Wood—which are entirely unrelated to AMKE and ECPS— Mr. Wood has voluntarily agreed to temporarily step aside to focus on his personal obligations. We will use this time to conduct an investigation into our organizational records.

As this matter does not involve AMKE or ECPS, we’re unable to comment further. Please note: this situation does not affect next year’s Anime Milwaukee, which we are busy planning in earnest.
